Virgo Season Astrological Outlook by Frequency Astrology, Astrologer, Jenna Lowe

As we step into September, we're already well into Virgo season, which kicked off on August 22nd. With the Sun now about one-third of the way through Virgo, we're feeling that classic Virgo energy—organized, precise, and ready to tackle those to-do lists. But there’s something even bigger happening in the stars as September begins: Pluto is retrograding back into Capricorn.

Now, you might be thinking, "Haven't we been here before?" And the answer is, yes—sort of. Pluto hung out in Capricorn from 2008 until earlier this year when it dipped into Aquarius for a brief preview of what's to come. But now, Pluto’s back in Capricorn for one final curtain call, and this is big. We’re talking once-in-a-lifetime big, as Pluto won’t return to Capricorn for another 150 years!

So, what does this mean for us? Pluto in Capricorn is all about transformation, especially when it comes to tradition and structure. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is the sign of the wise elder, but it can also be pretty strict and serious. Mix that with Pluto's intensity, and you've got a recipe for deep, powerful changes—both personally and collectively.

For the past 15 years, Pluto in Capricorn has been shaking things up. We've all felt it, whether through shifts in our personal lives, or witnessing the breakdown of old societal structures. This was a time for letting go of outdated beliefs and habits and creating space for something new. It hasn't always been easy, but it was necessary for our growth.

Now, as Pluto reenters Capricorn, we’re revisiting these themes one last time. But don’t worry—there's cosmic support coming our way. Uranus, the planet of rebellion and individuality, and Venus, the planet of love and harmony, are here to help us navigate these intense energies. Think of them as shock absorbers, softening some of Pluto's rougher edges.

To add a sprinkle of magic, the New Moon in Virgo arrived on September 2nd, bringing with it fresh, grounding energy. The Moon will cozy up to Venus, giving us emotional support as we navigate these transformative times. But as the days pass, we'll be challenged to find our balance without those comforting cosmic influences. Stay strong!

Around September 7th, things heat up again with a Yod—also known as the "Finger of God" aspect—pointing directly at Pluto. Mars in Cancer is pushing us to confront emotional wounds, while Mercury, now direct, encourages us to speak our truth. This powerful combination is all about courage and self-expression. It’s a moment to shed old patterns and embrace a new way of being.

As we move through the rest of the month, we'll face more opportunities for growth. A Grand Cross involving the Moon, Saturn, the Sun, and Jupiter might challenge us to let go of beliefs or relationships that no longer serve us. But remember, letting go is part of making room for the new.

Towards mid-September, the Moon catches up with Pluto, reigniting those Capricorn vibes. The Sun, now in Virgo, will ask us to critically examine what's happening around us—whether in our own lives, our communities, or society at large. It’s all about authenticity and transformation. And while it might feel intense, there's a sense of emotional satisfaction that comes from doing this work.

As we enter the second half of the month, things might feel a bit off-balance. Our emotional needs could clash with our desires for self-expression and relationship harmony. This is a time for patience and setting boundaries, especially as we approach the Full Moon on September 17th.

By the time we reach the final week of September, things start to come full circle. With the Sun entering Libra—a sign all about balance and partnership—it's time to take everything we've learned during Virgo season and share it with the world. What insights have you gained? What transformations have you undergone? Libra season invites us to celebrate these victories with the people we care about.

So, buckle up, star children! September is bringing us a wild ride of cosmic shifts and transformations, but with the right mindset and a little cosmic support, we’ll come out stronger on the other side. Happy stargazing! 🌟
